Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, November 13, 2025 the meeting of the VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the Village of Manley, Nebraska will be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Village Community Center, 115 Cherry Street, Manley, NE. The agenda for such meeting, which is kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at the Office of the Village Clerk in the Village Community Center during normal business hours. If you have a concern that you wish to address, contact the Village Clerk (402) 234-2304 no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting.

The programs begin at 12:00 and are over by 1:00.
They are free and open to the public. Those attending are welcome

“Restoring North Elmwood Cemetery
and Research into Civil War Veterans buried in
Cass County”
Speaker: Stanley Laughlin
Stan will talk about cleaning up North Elmwood Cemetery at 274th and Mill Road.
Relatives of some of the people buried there served in the Civil War,
so Stan began researching Civil War Veterans buried in Cass County and has found over 500.

“Packhorse Librarians of Kentucky”
Speaker: Ann McGee
This presentation is about an intrepid group of women, and some men,
whose mission it was to deliver books in the Appalachian mountains of Kentucky
during the Depression.
